they say a girl's mood swing is most unpredictable and i so agree with tt..
you see i decided to go bugis alone today for some retail therapy after swimming with dear was cancelled..
so i bathed and got changed.. was upbeat and all
wore my new tinkerbell necklace and carried my new bag from bkk.. everything was done.. even planned what shoes i wanted to wear already but the minute i stepped out of my room.. i didnt feel like gg out anymore.. really.. not sure what came over me.. just didnt want to step out of the house

so i went to my bro's room and asked him.. "so u think i shd go out?"
he looked at me bewildered and all.. "you already got changed.. just go out lar.. u siao is it.."
but then the thing is i was just so not in the mood to go out suddenly.. to make things worse.. the sun outside was scorching.. another factor to deter me from gg out..
so i went to my room and changed out of everything.. back to my lor-kok kns home wear
and then i went bk to my bro's room again and told him i'd changed out and im not gg out anymore.. he thinks im crazy

BKK part 2

Day 1 -- Khao San Night Market and Memorial Bridge Market
went for dinner first at a seafood restaurant near our hotel after checking in.. seafood there damn cheap.. and fresh.. proceeded to khao san after tt
i love khao san.. its so happening there.. it's like HV but 10 times better.. the neon lights make the place look vibrant and lively.. hip hop r&b was blasting away and if u explore around, away frm the main street.. you find quaint little restaurants/ pubs hidden away..



dear and i got our caricatures drawn.. the guy is damn cute la.. he has this lop-sided grin when he smiles..


hopped on the cab to memorial bridge mkt next.. time was already 1030 plus pm but the market was still bustling with pple.. this market machiam like our pasr malam.. nothing special.. got bored after one stretch and it was drizzling a bit..so we went back to hotel

Day 2 -- Grand Palace (Emerald Buddha), Siam area and Suam Lum Night Bazaar
the day started with us exploring the area near our hotel.. armed with a trusty map and dear's fantastic navigating skills (at least i tot so.. haha i sucked at map reading) we 'trekked' all the way from our hotel to siam area.. i think we spent ard 30-45 mins walking and sweating like shit..
and from outside siam paragon we took a cab to grand palace early in the morning.. whole place was filled with tourists.. but the scuptures, monuments and all were really magnificent and awe-strucking.. the place is freaking beautiful.. went to see the emerald buddha.. had to take off my shoes and cap.. when i stepped in.. a swell of emotions got over me.. maybe tt's because im a buddhist.. unexplainable haa

the place is really huge and we walked for some time.. but the weather was so damn scorching hot.. my whole face was red by the time we got out from the palace.. i think if i had stayed longer.. i would have been burnt

i was really eager to try the tuks tuks.. so off we went to siam area on a tuk tuk!
so exciting the ride.. machiam like rollercoaster.. my cap nearly flew off coz the wind was so strong.. every bump or turn at the junction was real thrilling.. but travelling by tuk tuks ard damn ex la.. the drivers quote u damn high price.. after bargaining the price also higher than if u were to take a taxi and go by meter..

didnt buy much stuffs from siam area.. in fact we didnt really stayed long at siam area.. nothing really fantastic.. went back to hotel to rest before proceeding to suam lum

suam lum was cool.. but i still prefer khao san..
had seafood again for dinner


suam lum had this big ferris wheel which we went on.. or rather i went on it for the sake of dear... haha ur truly damn scared of heights la.. but dear want to be romantic romantic so i went on it lor.. haha oops.. i nearly peeed in my pants la.. esp when our cabin was right at the peak.. and the bloody cabin was shaking like a rocking house.. wa.. i was holding on to the metal grill for dear life.. but i still managed to churn out some pics here and there..



shopping again wasnt really great.. mostly selling thai handicrafts and woven bags.. left after combing a few sections.. it's real confusing there.. with all the different sections and intersections..

Day 3 -- Chatuchak Market, Platinum Mall and Khao San
chatuchak also like our pasar malam.. nth great.. the sun was totally blistering la.. bumped into liyun, my attachment mate.. such a coincidence.. i think the whole ntu population is in bkk..



after like 2 hours.. we left and went to the much raved about platinum mall.. supposedly it was a wholesale centre and if u get 3 pieces in the same shop.. you can get it at wholesale price.. i mean what 3 pieces.. i hardly set my eyes on 1 piece.. let alone 3 pieces.. i was real disappointed after i walked around for a while.. the clothes there machiam like this fashion la.. and cetain stuffs some of the shops sell so damn trashy.. hardly bought anything inside
dear came to a conclusion.. bkk clothes not suitable for me.. im better off wearing my zara topshop mng clothes.. haha

our legs were aching after 3 days of walking.. so we went for massage after platinum! didnt plan this initially but on our way back we saw this thai massage centre so we decided to pop in to get some relaxtion..
my sweet dearie paid for me.. =) we chose the 1 hour full body oil massage.. this is the first time i ever been in a massage centre.. but the place is pretty ok.. with all the dim lightings and carpets.. looks cozy.. pretty spacious too.. not those sleazy ones where the girls will ask "sir, you want special?" pui!
my whole body was totally relaxed after the massage.. we slept for 4 hours st all the way till 10pm! lazy to get up actually..but we are heading back to khao san for more shopping! so off we go again..

we found this restaurant with a gd ambience and thus had our dinner there..
i love the place.. i want my future home to be like this..



Day 4 -- last day at BKK .. MBK and Boanzza Mall again
went back to these places again for some last min shopping before we leave for the airport.. main aim for bonazza is to buy my tinkerbell necklace which i aimed on the second day.. the shop owner still refused to go lower than 500 bhat.. got it on the end coz i really love it.. and dear loves it as well.. so he bought it for me!

anyhow we got a real funny taxi driver on our way to the bkk airport..
he was telling us sth abt sporean women at 30 yrs old had 1 baby.. figure still va va vroom.. he sorta made the wolf-whistling sound when he said that.. and then bkk women.. had 1 baby at 20.. the figure like shit.. and then he made the bleah sound.. haha
then he asked me what's my relation to dear.. and dear replied im his wife! wat only haha
he started talking abt cars next.. said he bought this second-hand nissan car.. before he bought the car.. no gf.. after he got the car.. many many gfs.. then those gals tot he working in a bank when he's only a taxi driver.. haha he also lied to them he earned 50000 bhat a month working in a bank.. wat only.. guy.. at the airport.. he got nagged by this security officer for honking at other taxis too many times.. after the officer turned.. he knocked his fist into his other palm and said fuck to the officer behind his back.. the way he did it.. hilarious la..

at the departing area at bkk airport.. other gates were empty.. the passengers only went to the gates when the anouncement was made.. sporeans? they started queueing at the gate like 45 mins before.. and not long.. a queue was formed.. and this was the only queue in the whole of the departing area.. wat sai.. i was wat the hell... cant be bothered with them queueing.. so dear and i sat down and tried to find white hair from each other's head to pluck haha

BKK part 1

yours truly is back from BKK..i had lotsa of fun travelling with dear.. but i was a lil' sick of BKK by the third day.. shopping wasnt really that fantabulous.. most of the clothes there.. not to my liking.. i only got 5 tops, 2 skirts, 3 belts, 4 bags, 2 pairs of shoes and 1 lovely tinkerbell necklace.. and dear paid for my stuffs here and there.. thank you very much!
the clothes there.. like overdose of frills and laces.. too much for my liking..and the guys' clothes there are free size.. i couldnt find any suitable tees in the correct size for my bro who has broad shoulders..
dearie bought 3 tees and 1 pair of fisherman pants.. he's crazy.. once he put on the pants.. he will keep on sawadika-ing.. siao! haha

time seems to pass very slowly on the first day.. its like we have done so many things and yet only 1 hour has passed.. maybe we aint used to the time difference yet.. haha though bkk is only like 1 hr slower than spore.. but sec day onwards.. things got on pretty normally already.. its like we did a lot of things and 4 hours had passed.. like what am i talking abt.. nvm

At the aiport! we had lots of time before we boarded the plane so we roamed around and had some venezia ice cream







we couldnt get any seats together because we were one of the last to embark the plane.. in the end we sat right at the very last row.. the aisle seats next to each other

im flying off to bkk in ard 16 hours time!
havent packed my bag though.. haha.. evening time then pack..
i love mummy.. she is the best la.. she sponsored my flight and accomodation expenses as well as half of my shopping spree.. u see.. i plan to bring ard 300 SGD to bkk since i only had like 2 full days to chiong shopping.. so mummy volunteered $150.. HAA! yea!
hmm now im not even sure if 300 SGD is enough..

right im in the midst of writing my PA report.. but my brain is dead.. i have absolutely no idea on to proceeed with the bloody report.. its been 3 hours.. and i have only churned out 820 words.. machiam kuku bird.. 680 more words to go..

anyhow.. im allergic to dear's singing.. it's a proven fact.. tested many times too..
whenever dear sings.. i will YAWN.. haha and dear just finds it so amusing that he will always sing and i will always yawn after or while he sang.. idiot..
so last night.. on the way home.. i think he was trying to be idiotic again coz he started singing and all.. and of course i yawned la.. irritating i tell you.. especially when im very tired already..
and then we walked past this path.. dear wasnt singing.. but someone in one of the flats was singing karaoke... yea 10 plus pm at night.. that woman was karaoke-ing.. out of tune somemore.. but then I NEVER YAWN! so dear found it amusing and he decided to do the experiment again.. he sang.. and i yawned! ahaha.. hilarious i tell you..
next time i have insomnia, dear will just sing and i will yawn and maybe i will just fall asleep after tt...
he is a silly boy.. haha but i like.. oops.. hee

i vomitted a total of 11 times.. frm 730am till midnight.. the greatest number of times i vomitted in a single day in my whole life.. diarrhoea of more than 15 times.. i was practically vomitting at every one hour interval.. whatever i put into my mouth my stomach will react strongly against it.. honey water, glucose water and plain water.. yea plain water.. they all came out.. even medicine too.. there was a point of time i even vomitted out my gall.. is that what u call it.. it's called 'dan' in chinese.. the fluid was yellow..

i also fainted once yesterday.. i remembered when i fainted.. my mind drifted to the iras work scene haha i saw a lot of pple.. they were all talking.. i wanted to join them.. but i heard someone calling out for my name constantly and loudly.. it was my mum and dad.. i think like after 5 10 mins or so.. i finally opened my eyes.. and i could hear my bro saying "bring her to the hospital!" heh..

vomitting at every one hour interval makes me lose water very fast.. very soon i will be dehydrated.. so with the support of my parents.. was feeling weak cant walk at all.. i went to see the doc again..

the second doc said i had serious food posioning.. he checked my mouth and found that i was super dehydrated so he arranged for a drip on me..
i was like wth.. urs truly is damn scared of needles.. to have one poking into my skin for 2 hours was terrible.. moreover the needle was long.. and there's this point of time.. my blood outflowed into the tube.. scared the hell outta me.. while i was having the drip.. mum was with me all along.. for e whole 2 hours.. just sitting down there with nothing to do very boring one leh.. even at night.. she lied on my sis's bed looking at me sleep.. i mean for the whole night she was just lying down there staring at me without getting any slp at all.. i felt so bad..

now im feeling much better.. the vomitting has stopped.. but i do get the ocassional nausea feeling.. diarrhoea hasnt stopped yet..

mummy even asked me not to go thailand anymore.. coz the food there might be dirtier than spore's.. but cannot lor.. i must go.. however im still apprehensive abt the food there.. i will bring my own biscuits there.. if possible i will try not to eat those roadside stalls' foods..

to end off.. urs truly is diagnosed with gastric (i knew this long time ago) and LOW BLOOD PRESSURE.. meaning if i nv eat for a few hours.. my body will start to feel cold and tremble.. in worse situations.. urs truly will just faint and go to lala land.. shit..

geez.. im down with stomach flu.. nv go work at all
since 730am i had diarrhoea of 7 times and vomitted 3 times too.. all within these 4 hours..

vomitted out all of last night's dinner.. i can still see the rectangular shape of those carrot cakes i ate.. just that they all turned black.. disgusting.. haa

whatever i ate my stomach will just reject and then they will come out of my mouth shortly after.. even the honey water mummy made for me.. so now essentially i havent eaten for around 15 hours since last night's dinner was all out..

but i dont feel hungry at all.. no appetite in fact

i hate my stomach.. it's so weak.. the stomach flu wasnt tt bad at all but my gastric made it worse.. in fact whenever i go to the doc for other illnesses.. at the end of every session.. the doc always prescribe gastric med for me when in the first place.. i only had some flu or what..

yaya, soupy, shez and nor: if tonight's tau huay dinner still on.. sorry babes i cant turn up
